We are watching the live broadcast of the Sundance Film Festival Awards from our room. Just got out of our last movie, “Nowhere Boy,” depicting John Lennon’s life pre-Beatles. We saw “Twelve” this morning (and Chace Crawford!!) it was pretty intense.
This is my first experience with snow (I’m from Myrtle Beach, SC–it doesn’t snow there) and the snow has been an experience in itself. I can’t get over how beautiful it is. I really do not want to leave in the morning.

I have the fireplace on in the luxury hotel room mark set me up with, and I am sipping on a cup of hot chocolate. I cannot get over how beautiful this city is. We can see skiers from our room. Just got out of Mark Ruffalo’s film “Sympathy for Delicious,” another emotional piece in the U.S. Dramatic Competition.
It is such an experience to be at the screenings because you are watching a movie with the actual people that helped make it. And after the film they have a little Q & A session! Mark Ruffalo was there along with some of the actors and producers involved with the film. I can’t believe how incredible this experience has been so far and I can’t wait for tomorrow!!

Another beautiful day in Park City, Utah. We started the day off with “Blue Valentine,” a new film staring Michelle Williams and Ryan Gosling. It was an emotional roller coaster, but a beautiful one. I am completely falling in love with this city. It is charming and everyone is very friendly.
I was prepared for the cold today and wore my mark warm welcome turtleneck scarf today to keep warm! We also spotted some celebrities in a few of the movies. They blend in pretty well amongst the plethora of black jackets and toboggans.
Stay tuned for more from Sundance!
